Chelsea Attard
Chelsea joined her university’s kickboxing club in 2006 in hopes of learning some practical self-defence. Instantly she fell in love with martial arts and hasn’t looked back. Chelsea has trained in a variety of martial arts, believing that no one system holds all of the answers, and that an open mind is one of the most powerful tools a martial artist can have. Though she’s dabbled in Tae Kwon Do, and Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, Chelsea’s martial experience is primarily a combination of three years kickboxing and Jeet Kune Do training, two years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and five years and counting with RAW Combatives. For Chelsea, her martial arts training is not simply a hobby or a means of keeping fit. Her training at RAW has not only offered her practical skills and understanding of key martial concepts, but also greater confidence and an opportunity for personal reflection and growth. She hopes to share these benefits with many people in years to come.
